Daryl Andreades, R.A. is a licensed architect in New York and California and maintains her credential as a NYS code enforcement official. Prior to joining the NYSED Facilities Planning Office as a Senior Architect in the Spring of 2018, Ms. Andreades worked with NYS Department of State; NYS Division of Military and Naval Affairs; the SUNY Construction Fund and in private practice as an architect.
She is responsible for answering health & safety questions directed to Facilities Planning; manages the Fire Safety Inspection and Reporting program for district facilities across the state; and serves as an agency representative to the emergency management office administered by the NYS Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services. During her previous tenure, Daryl was appointed to represent the Secretary of State at the regular meetings of the State Review Board for Historic Preservation. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and studied abroad at the Architectural Association in London, England. Daryl lives with her husband, son, dogs and chickens in Columbia County, NY.
