Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination, with the IPM Ornamentals Team, for statewide development, facilitation and implementation of ornamental IPM programs
  • Act as Program Coordinator for Ornamental IPM Educators
  • Interact with faculty and Extension personnel to encourage and implement IPM research in the field of ornamental plants
  • Secure funding, as needed, to further the activities of the IPM Ornamentals Team and encourage research in ornamental IPM
  • Support the Director and the NYS IPM Program in promoting the practices of Integrated Pest Management in the State of New York

  • Evaluation of Alternative Herbicides for Control of Annual and Perennial Weeds in Ornamental Gardens (with B. Eshenaur and D. Marvin)
  • Evaluation of Alternative Fungicides for Control of Rhabdocline Needlecast on Douglas Fir (with G. Couch and D. Marvin)
