Each year the Program awards individuals or organizations whose work
supports integrated pest management in New York State in one or more
of the following ways:

developing new tools that will speed the adoption of IPM
-
allowing IPM methods to be evaluated in their growing operations
-
encouraging demonstrations of IPM methods on their farms
-
promoting IPM in their businesses
-
bolstering the adoption of IPM practices through the work of their
organizations or through educational programs
The IPM Program fosters the reduction of chemical pesticides by using
a combination of methods that protect human health and the environment.
